講師紹介: アシュリー・ロドリゲス・リード
はじめまして！私はアーティストであり教育者として、子どもたちがアートを通して自分を表現できるようサポートすることに情熱を注いでいます。
🖌 美術学修士（MFA）& K-12美術教師資格
🖌 15年以上の教育経験（子ども＆大人対象）
アメリカ・カリフォルニア州オークランドの私立学校で K-8のアート＆STEAM教育（科学・技術・工学・芸術・数学）を担当し、創造力と問題解決力を育む授業を開発してきました。
また、フィラデルフィアと日本のテンプル大学で美術・デザイン・ビジュアルストーリーテリングを指導し、幅広いレベルの学生とアートを探求してきました。
私の教育理念
アートは、単なる技術ではなく「自信・コミュニケーション・つながり」のためのツールです。
完璧を目指すのではなく、「創造することの楽しさ」を大切にしたレッスンを行っています。

Kids’ Art & English Workshops – March Trial Lessons!

I’m offering special trial lessons for just 2,000 yen in March so your child can experience the joy of making art while practicing English in a relaxed and engaging environment.

About Your Instructor: Ashley Rodriguez Reed
I’m Ashley, a professional artist, educator, and lifelong creative dedicated to helping kids express themselves through art. I hold a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and a K-12 Art Teaching Certification, and I have over 15 years of experience teaching both children and adults in diverse educational settings.
Before moving to Japan, I taught Art and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) at a K-8 private school in Oakland, CA, where I developed hands-on, interdisciplinary lessons that encouraged creativity and problem-solving. I’ve also taught at Temple University in Philadelphia and Temple University Japan, working with students of all levels to explore fine arts, design, and visual storytelling.
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe that art is a tool for confidence, communication, and connection—not just a skill to master. In my classes, students learn that art isn’t about perfection; it’s about creative expression, problem-solving, and finding joy in the process.
⭐Exploration Over Perfection – Every child has a unique artistic voice, and my goal is to help them discover and develop it.
⭐Hands-on Learning – Art is a sensory experience! We mix materials, experiment, and play with different techniques such as drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and fiber arts.
⭐Cross-Cultural Inspiration – We explore global artists, traditions, and storytelling to help kids see the connections between art and the world around them.
⭐Confidence & Communication – Through sharing their work and ideas, students build stronger communication skills in both artistic expression and English language development.
My workshops create an encouraging space where kids can be themselves, learn new techniques, and grow creatively—all while having fun!
Regular Classes Starting on April 9th!
Schedule: Wednesday’s from 4-5pm and again 5:15pm-6:15pm.
